The following is a list of churches actively seeking a Pastor. Please Note: Ministers assigned by the Conference Executive Council must be credentialed with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Pastoral appointments will be made according to one of the following tracks. The Conference Superintendent or his appointee shall meet with the Local Church Administrative Council to determine the best method of selection. Pastoral candidates may be considered from any Conference in the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. In all situations, Senior Pastors and churches are subject to the appointing powers of the Conference. Unless an alternative structure has been approved by the Conference Executive Council, the office of Senior/Lead Pastor shall be held by only one person, who must be a credentialed IPHC clergy member.
Track 1: The Conference a. Executive Council may appoint Senior Pastors to local churches in consultation with the Local Church Administrative Council.
Track 2: The Conference Executive Council may appoint Senior Pastors to local churches in consultation with the Local Church Administrative Council and election by the local congregation.
Track 3: The Local Church Administrative Council may appoint a pastoral search committee to offer candidates to the local congregation. This committee shall initiate its work with the Conference Superintendent and work through the Conference Superintendent in making contacts with its candidates.
The process as described above is defined in its entirety in the IPHC Manual. If you would like more information about one or more of the following churches, please contact the Cornerstone Conference Ministry Center at 336-656-7936.
