Buckets of Promise

Rev. Neil Pressley, Cornerstone Conference DRUSA Director, holds a sample “Bucket of Promise.”

On November 4th, 2012 our MEN’S MINISTRY and DRUSA Ministry will launch a project that has been in the planning stages for a long time.   The project is called “Buckets of Promise.”  You can help!

Neil Pressley, our Cornerstone Conference DRUSA Coordinator writes,

“This project is designed to help during a disaster in a most economical way. We are providing the buckets and lids; all we need is for you to fill as many as you can with supplies from a list that we have created. Items can be altered as you see needed.  I stated from the beginning as I planned this project that there is only one compromise that I refuse to make, and that is the Bible that is to be placed on the very top. I believe that this is the greatest hope for a hurting person or family in a time of great tragedy.”

Buckets are available at the Cornerstone Conference Ministry.  You can make arrangments to pick-up buckets by contacting Neil Pressley or by calling the Conferene Ministry Center Offices.

Our DRUSA Coordinator would like to have the filled buckets returned during our Men’s Winter Retreat to be held the weekend of January 18th and 19th, 2013.

Financial contributions can be made to the Conference Office, just earmark them for DRUSA Buckets of Promise.
