Talent Quest

Email

The primary focus of the National Talent Quest Ministry is to give our youth the opportunity to discover, develop and deploy their God-given talents and acquired skills for active ministry in fulfilling the Great Commission and thus glorifying God. This is part of the renewed emphasis on spiritual gifts in our church. The secondary focus of the ministry is to provide a vehicle for training our youth in the following areas:

Discipline: To compete and win on a conference or national level requires discipline to practice, practice, practice; discipline to be on time; discipline to memorize; discipline to work hard and do your very best.

Sportsmanship
: To compete against your friends requires development of true sportsmanship: the ability to win with humility and charity, to lose with grace and dignity, and if defeated, to rejoice with the winner and be glad for him or her.

Christian
values: Each competitor must present talent which is Christian in its content. It must contain a God-honoring message or theme. This requires time evaluating and understanding the significance of a presentation.

We provide competition on the Conference and National Level with constructive evaluation that encourages continued development of talents and skills.
