IPHC Establishes Fund for Sandy Relief in U.S.

By Neil Pressley

On October 31, 2012, the Disaster Relief USA Committee recommended the issuance of a declaration for the Northeast region of the United States, which was approved soon after by Bishop Doug Beacham, general superintendent of the IPHC. The declaration was based on images circulated by the media over the last several hours and field assessments conducted by IPHC personnel in the affected areas.

“The effects of the historic storm Sandy have left much of the mid-Atlantic and northeastern United States without power and under severe flooding. It is imperative that the IPHC family join with other Christians and humanitarian agencies in providing help for those whose lives have been so severely disrupted,” said Beacham. “We pray that out of the destruction and chaos, that millions will experience firsthand the love of Jesus Christ through the helping hands of His church.

These areas are in desperate need of assistance. Contributions can be made online and by mail. All contributions will be specifically designated for assistance in the Northeast. If you are writing a check, please make it out to IPHC-DRUSA and include the project #02261P on the memo line. Please send your checks to:
