Our 2018 Men’s Ministry Winter Impact event is set for February 23-24 at the Cornerstone Conference Ministry Center. You don’t want to miss this year’s experience because it’s full of exciting worship and challenging training along with the great fellowship of fellow brothers in Christ. This year due to the interest and need, our focus will be Disaster Relief. The men of Cornerstone Conference want to help and assist at the time of a disaster, but so many of us don’t know what to do and therefore lack the meaningful direction to make a real impact in this time of need. Thus, the need for training, planning and readiness that will put us a cut above others and send us out to help those devastated by tragedy.
Friday will start with registration at 4:00 pm at the main entrance, a fish fry at 6 pm in the Cafeteria Training Center, and worship service at 7:00 pm with Bishop Tommy McGhee delivering the message in the Auditorium. Saturday will start 7:00 am until 8:00 am with breakfast being served by the mobile feeding kitchen and worship, devotion and prayer beginning at 8:30 am to 9 am. Session One will be from 9:00-9:45 am, and we’ll finish the day around 12:30 pm. (A complete schedule can be found at www.cornerstonecmc.org).
This event will prove to be one of the best, and to be the most hands-on training we’ve had since starting this men’s retreat; so make sure you do everything in your power to come and encourage other men to attend with you. You’ll be able to see firsthand the mobile feeding kitchen in operation. The mobile shower will be there for display, and you’ll learn how it operates. There is so much more you will learn and understand about this great ministry called Disaster Relief USA.
