About Royal Rangers:

Royal Rangers is a mentoring ministry and program for future men.  We provide Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment.  Our mission is to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders.

Royal Rangers provides an effective means of discipling boys by utilizing direct personal relationships between men and boys, developed around a core of shared interests and experiences.  Activity-based ministries are essential to the spiritual development of boys.

The Cornerstone Conference strives to provide such activities and training for our boys (and leaders) to fulfill Christ’s great commission to see His Kingdom grow not just in quantity but true Christian quality!  Training includes going to the individual churches for presentations from starting an Outpost to assisting progress and initial Ranger Basics Training.  Conference level training includes the annual adult Leadership Training Academy (LTA) and the boys’ Ranger Training Academy (RTA).  Camping activities include the spring Pow-wow and Fall Camp Out for the old level boys and Ranger Kids Overnighter and Field Day.  The Ranger of the Year program involves the overall year concerning the overall boy’s progress in Rangers, church, community, family and his Christian growth.  Other activities also include the annual Leonard H. Atkins Awards Banquet, Ranger Derby, various District and local level activities and one major highlight of the National Camporama held every four years.

Royal Rangers has a rich history upon which this great ministry has been built with the IPHC celebrating 25 years since its adoption as the IPHC official boys’ ministry in 1985 which the Assembly of God so wonderfully developed and envisioned!  The Royal Rangers program is defined by the core principles upon which it was built since it’s inception by Commander Johnny Barnes.  These core principles of evangelism, discipleship, leadership, achievement, and service are represented by our pledge, code, motto, and emblem.
